RankSorted By Rank In Ascending OrderLogoTeamRecordComments
LogoTornadoes9-3A- = The tornadoes end the season certainly short of last year accomplishment but with a record that is something to be proud of. Why we rank them #1. Look at their talent. They have more players with college and professional experience than anyone in the state. Would I like to see the generals, bearcats, or cutters play them to prove us wrong, hell ya. Make it happened next year people.
LogoGenerals10-1A = The Generals have played more consistent football than anyone in the state other than the Colts. They have the highest margin of victory, and allowed an astonishing 6.5 pts a game, lowest in the state. Their only downfall was the big game, and honestly that game could have ended with either team as the victor.
LogoBearcats14-1A = The Bearcats have shown dominance over many teams this season, 14 to be exact, higher than anyone else. They went undefeated in the MFL, and their only lost was an early lost shorthanded to the Bulls, a now sub .500 team. This is only blemish keeping them from that #1 seat.
LogoCutters9-1A = How can an IFL championship team be #4? The Cutters won the big game, but a lack of any pre-season games against other teams and any significant road wins other than the Championship leave it hard for me to rank above the other three teams. On the other hand, to rank a champion team any lower would be a travesty.
LogoWildcats9-4A- = The Wildcats have got to be the biggest shocker of the season. This team was 1-10 last year. YES ONE AND TEN! Job well done gentlemen.
LogoWolfpack5-5A- = The Wolfpack started out the best you ever wish. It takes a united group to keep together after 3 loses and come back with a 5 game winning streak and have you been to one of their home games? I think the entire city comes out to watch their game. With their talent and community support, they will be a force to be dealt with next year.
LogoMustangs5-4B = The Mustangs found themselves a few less wins than years past and a starting QB down. Don’t get the idea that they are on the way down the rakings next year, I have no doubt they will be ready next year for a comeback.
LogoPatriots7-5B = The Patriots as well found themselves less than their normal dominance and a few players short on the roster than normal. Still they won games and were above the .500. Unlike the Mustangs, the future of this team in somewhat of a questionable state.
LogoWarriors5-5B- = The Warriors team found more success outside their conference than in it which is why their front page has a poll for what league they should be in next year. Their record will improve with a move as there is some good talent on this team.
LogoPirates6-6B- = The Pirates are still in their rebuilding stages and this year is proof of that statement. Their return next year could see this team moving either direction.
LogoShamrock5-5B- = The Shamrock team is another one of those middle to upper middle of the pack teams. They win easily win over some while giving up points to the better. Next year this team could see some more L than W unless they hit the recruiting trails.
LogoMustangs4-5C+ = The Mustangs win one game less than in 2008 and not much else changes, but why should they. This team has been around longer than about any.
LogoStampede4-6C = The Stampede moved leagues and found themselves on top of their division. The Hoosier Division however is the worst in the MSFL. They have dropped the most from 2008 than any other team in Indiana. Will this team that seems to split each year stay together?
LogoBlitz4-7C- = The Blitz have drop the 2nd most from last year. The rearrangement of the MFL divisions may be to be blame. This team, like the Wildcats from last year, is a few players away from turning a lot of heads.
LogoCardinals5-8-1D+ = The Cardinals look like and were a top 5 team at the beginning of the year. Where they went at the end of this year is unknown to many, just like the probability of a Cardinals team next year.
LogoCrush3 - 5C- = The Crush have improved over last year. There is no doubt about that. The addition of a few first year teams help this out quite a lot. Next year will be a validation of their improvement.
LogoIndiana Titans2-8-1D+ = The Titans are one of those teams that are here to play ball and will continue to play ball. Their work is cut out for them, but they will return next year.
LogoWolfpack1-10D = The Wolfpack are another one of those teams that play for the love of the game. All things point to the fact that they will return next year.
LogoWolverines0-11D- Skill A+ Heart = The Wolverines are the worst team in the nation. Yet unlike the rest of the teams below, they hung it out, and played every minute of every game with the exception of one. Their numbers will be a factor in their return next year but their numbers were improving towards the end of the year so there is hope.
LogoSteelers0-7F - The Steelers forfeited many of their games at the end of the season.
LogoRage0-5F - The Rage folded in the middle of the season and seems like they are not returning next year.
